Global Warming Has yet to hit Arcata

It's so cold here. Twenty-nine degrees this morning. Hurry up Global Warming.

That's Athena in the corner. My son rescued her from the shelter several years ago. She was kind of beat up and had had a litter already. Sweet dog. Pitbulls have suffered from a bad rep probably because they can do so much damage. This is due to people raising them to fight or just to be aggressive. I have never known a dog with so much loyalty and affection. I understand that this loyalty trait was bred into them. We did have to keep a close eye on her and tie her up when we left because she liked to chase other little critters. If we get another dog it will be a pitbull and I would highly recommend them. I don't care for the cut ears.

Why Crumbly Dirt

The main reason is because all the names I thought of were taken so I started thinking about names that no one would use. There's a lot of blogs with dirt in the name out there. Crumbly came to me because it's almost March and time to think about gardening. Till the soil and you get crumbly dirt. Why am I doing this and what do I hope to accomplish? I have no idea, but this is just another way to play on the computer. It would be interesting to post subjects and have discussions. If anyone would like to start one on any subject feel free. I will probably post something soon.
